These pins allow for an original style look without the screw heads.
Why do they look like normal pins? That is what we were going for. We manufactured a special press die that creates a “spring” pin that locks the pin into your FRT cassette sleeve. Installing will require the pin to be drifted into place with a punch.
Does not require disassembly of the FRT for install.
We use these in all of our own personal rifles with great success.
If you are looking for a more elegant way to do this please check out our pin sleeves that will retain a regular non-spring FCG pin.
These work in the following FRTs:

I was a little skeptical at first that something like this could work, but it definitely does! They needed a fair bit of tapping encouragement with a nylon punch and small dead blow hammer to get them properly seated all the way in. After that, they’ve gone for ~600 rounds with zero movement and based on the force required to get them in I have no doubt they’ll continue to stay put.

I use them in my clone lowers equipped with FRT receivers made from 80% receivers. I never had any issues with them. Initially, I was skeptical, but after installing them and firing the guns, I have no concerns. Ordering 2 more as we speak!

Received those today and took a closer look to figure out how does it work… wow just wow!! talking about simple, elegant, smart engineering! I will always use this for all my cassette drop in triggers from now on!
