5 out of 5 stars for this piece of Kit. Often in the gun industry folks create solutions for issues that don’t exist just to sell a product. Not Mike though.
With the release of the Rare Breed HK pack the 90x series of guns have soared in popularity. Unfortunately- due to the design the selector goes past the safe position. While it will not fire in that position it could lead to an error or miscalculation and confusion to the shooter – something to be avoided at all cost.
Mike’s solution is ingenious, elegant yet simple. My first installation took about 3 minutes. My second took about 90 seconds. I have two of the Ambi Packs. The SEF installation should be similar.
Ambi-
1. Remove the right selector by loosening the set screw.
2. Remove the selector and take the pack from the housing.
3. Remove the set screw on lower right rear of pack with the supplied ball end hex key.
4. Remove the detent and detent spring.
5. Install the supplied detent and spring.
6. Place the set screw back in and turn just enough to hold everything in place with the hex key.
7. Reinstall pack in the housing and insert selector on via the left side and depress the detent from the right side and firmly snap selector into place. Then reinstall right side selector and tighten set screw.
8. Using the supplied ball end hex key tighten set screw from the rear of the pack.
For every RB HK pack owner – this is not an option, it’s a necessity.

Great price so I gave it a try.
All I can say is that this should have come with the trigger pack. Totally removes the mushy feeling. Selector now has a nice positive CLICK between settings. THANK YOU!!
